Research and Reporting Assistant

Ender Tan Şener completed his middle school and high school education at TED Istanbul College. AP Environmental Science, an advanced class he took during his participation in the Advanced Placement Diploma Program, sparked his interest in the environment and sustainability issues, encouraging him to pursue an education in the field. He was accepted into the Honours Environment and Business Program in the University of Waterloo and began his education in 2022, of which he is currently a second-year student.

His interest in the environment and sustainability started early, thanks to his parents’ interest in these fields. His volunteer work during the 2019 Caretakers of the Environment International conference, as a tour guide and attaché to the founding members, influenced his decision to pursue a career in an environment-related field. Additionally, the education he received during the Introduction to Permaculture course provided by the Permatürk Foundation, and his internship within the foundation, further guided his decision.

As part of his co-operative education, he is currently employed as a Research and Reporting Assistant at Sercom Consulting for the 2024 January to April term. In this position, he will assist the research, reporting and presentation preparation efforts of Sercom Consulting.
